DANCE in a day

Activity day? PSHE day? 

Looking for something a little different to engage your pupils?

Our 'Dance in a Day' package will ensure your pupils are active, engaged, creative as individuals, working on leadership skills and building confidence. 

Rubix will work with your as teachers to ensure that the style of dance taught and the theme/subject area chosen is specific for your pupils.

The day will involve the following:

Undersatnding the importance of warming up and stretching for movement. 

Developing dance vocabulary 

Building new creative skills

Expand their own leadership skills and peer interaction

Increase confidence through performance.

DANCE WITHIN PE

Needing some inspiration for your PE classes?

Looking for a solid scheme of work for your pupils to be delivered by a dance specialist?

Rubix can help with creating and delivering an appropriate SOW for your school and pupils. Along with assisting in assessment at the end of term/module.

Hip-Hop and other Urban styles

CROSS CURRICULUM WORkSHOPS

Our dance workshops are an ideal way for your pupils to keep active, whilst learning new skills.  Through these workshops pupils will also build personal and social skills, alongside developing movement, dance, musical, creative and health related activities.

 

Our workshops can be connected to the PE national curriculum or linked to cross curriculum learning. Enabling your pupils to develop an understanding of a theme/subject area they may be studying in a practical and more innovative way. 

These workshops may be cross linked to English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, Art or PSHE subject areas. 

EXTRA CURRICULUM CLASSES

Weekly classes can be held at your school in a variety of styles for 1/2 term or full term blocks.

Classes can be 1-1.5 hours in length, with maximum 25 pupils in a class. 

These classes can be delivered in a variety of styles from Contemporary, Jazz, Commercial, Street and HipHop
