Over the last 3 years Clare has been working extensively for The Associated Board of Dance. Writing a brand new Contemporary Dance Syllabus Grades 1-5, Advanced Foundation and also an Associate Teacher Qualification. 

The syllabus has had a phenomenal response across the Uk and also in The Republic of Ireland and Scotland. 

At present Clare is delievering the syllabus to teachers across the UK, on regular teacher CPD days. 

The syllabus is currently looking to be accredited by GQUAL. 

For the last eight years Clare has been involved with delievering for the Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre Educaitonal workshops and projects. 

Working across the genres of Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Jazz and Creative dance, within the educational, private, youth, community and care sector. 

Clare has a huge involvement in the Creative Learning Departments dance provision and delievers all of the Hippodromes dance and movement workshops and projects. Whether this be education, community or project based work. Her work with The Birmingham Hippodrome sees Clare's variety of skills in action from delievering in schools and community settings, working on large projects such as Young Careers, building new talent through Summer Schools, working with large International companies - Sir Matthew Bourne's New Adventures curtain raisers, to working on full scale productions with young children. 

Clare has been teaching for the Royal Academy of Dance since 2005.

Her work for the Royal Academy of Dance has taken Clare across the Uk on one day guest workshops, to week long residences within the Uk and Internationally.  Working on Summer schools in Jersey, Edinburgh, Italy, Singapore and most recently Beijing China. 

2016 saw Clare work with The British Ballet Organisation in a number of roles.

As a facilitator for workshops, easter and summer schools in the styles of Jazz and Musical Theatre. 

Clare has been involved with delivering the new Musical Theatre Syllabus Grades 1-3 to BBO teachers across the UK.

2018 saw Clare take on the challenge of working alongside Garry Clarke to create, develop and write Grades 4-5 of the Musical Theatre Syllabus, along with creating a Primary Syllabus too.  

Clare has worked for Dancexchange on a number of projects over the years since 2005. 

Developing and running the youth dance company from 2005-2009. 

Weekly teaching of Ballet and Contemporary for the Saturday children's classes. 

Through to leading on various projects across Birmingham for The International Dance Festival's

In September 2015 saw the start of a fantastic new project 'Generation Strictly'.


Working in collaboration with BBC Radio WM, Clare took on the role of Choreographer and Director. 

The project itself had 3 parts:


1- To bring together 10 volunteers from acorss the West Midlands from the ages of 14-72. Creating 5 generation striclty couples who would then embark on a journey over 2 months, each creating a duet combining thier dance styles and radio interviews of thier lives and the process of the project.


2- To create a flashmob to be performed in Grand Central Station, Birmingham, on the day of Children in Need. The flashmob was made up of 3 different schools from across Birmingham, which invlolved Clare teaching them all 'The Strictly' which was created from BBC 1's Strictly Come Dancing. 


3- A large performance evening at the Tower Ballroom on the 3rd December 2015. Bringing all 5 Generation Strictly couples together, a specially choreographed routine performed by the presenters of Radio WM, and performances from various dance schools, community groups, and professional performance company Rubix Dance and Productions. 

The evening saw a culmination of the various elements of the project come under one roof as the whole evening was stage managed by Clare herself.  An fastastic and rewarding project to work on all round!
